Current Running Goals

It’s been a while since I last posted. After my half marathon, I’ve just been running less. My current running goals is to PR at my next 5k. I’m not sure what races I’ll be planning to for the rest of the year. I’m thinking of doing the RnR LA Half Marathon, but the thought of training during the summer with the heat is not exactly my cup of tea, so I may just do the 5k. Hopefully, I can do RnR LV one day. When I started running five years ago with the Couch25k app, it was just to prove to myself that running was possible. I didn’t think I’d actually fall in love with running. The great thing about running is that there isn’t really any rules and there are endless possibilities. Whether you are chasing Boston qualifying dreams to running your first 5k, running can be anything you want it to be. I don’t have any lofty goals yet to be running a marathon anytime soon, but as long as I’m enjoying running and continue to run that is really my ultimate goal. Seeing all those great runners in the news running races way into their 80s and 90s is always inspiring. Hopefully, I’m running well into my golden years.
